Terms of Service

Last updated: 23 October 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] (“Yukti Learn”, “we”, “us”, “our”), [REGISTERED ADDRESS], and govern your access to and use of the Yukti Learn website and learning platform (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

This document is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and does not require a physical or digital signature. It is published under Rule 3(1) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 (“IT Rules, 2021”). Our Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms.

1. Acceptance and the school agreement

If you use the Service on behalf of a school or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it to these Terms, and “you” includes that organisation.

If your school has signed a separate written agreement or order form with us, that agreement governs the commercial terms (such as fees, the licence term and the credit allowance) and prevails over these Terms where the two conflict. In every other respect these Terms apply to the school and to each of its users.

2. Definitions

  • School: a school or institution that holds a licence to the Service.
  • Authorised User: a person to whom a School or we have given an account, such as a principal, teacher, school administrator or student.
  • Individual: a person who opens an account themselves, outside any School, by signing in with Google or with a code sent to their email address.
  • Lesson: an interactive learning experience created, edited or delivered through the Service, including its code, design, text, narration, audio and metadata.
  • Lesson Engine: the software, templates, runtime, kit, instructions given to AI models, validation and repair systems, library-matching system and other technology we use to create and run Lessons.
  • User Content: anything you submit to the Service, including lesson requests and the text of attached files.
  • Credit: a unit of the School’s allowance, or of an Individual’s free allowance, that is used up when the Service creates a new Lesson or adds a library Lesson to the School’s library.
  • Subscription Term: the period for which a School has paid for a licence to the Service.

3. Eligibility, schools and children

  • The Service is provided to Schools and their Authorised Users. Accounts are created by a School or by us. We may approve or reject any request for access at our sole discretion, and may limit or withdraw access granted through the “Request access” form at any time.
  • Individuals may open an account themselves by signing in with Google or with a code sent to their email address, and must give accurate details when they first sign in. We may refuse, limit or close an Individual’s account at any time.
  • You must be 18 or older to request access yourself or to accept these Terms on your own behalf.
  • A person under 18 may use the Service only through an account created by their School, after the School has obtained verifiable consent from the child’s parent or lawful guardian as described in our Privacy Policy. The School and the parent or guardian accept these Terms on the child’s behalf and are responsible for the child’s use of the Service.
  • You may not use the Service if we have previously suspended or terminated your access, or if the law prohibits you from using it.

4. Accounts and security

  • Each account is for one named person only. Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your password, and the email or Google account you sign in with, confidential. Do not share your account, password, sign-in codes or signed-in session with anyone, and do not use anyone else’s account.
  • You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
  • Tell us at once at support@yuktilearn.in if you suspect unauthorised use of your account. We may suspend an account or require a password reset to protect the Service.
  • Schools are responsible for their Authorised Users’ compliance with these Terms, for keeping their user lists accurate, and for removing accounts of people who leave the School.

5. Your licence to use the Service

Subject to these Terms and to payment of the applicable fees, we grant the School and its Authorised Users a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable licence, during the Subscription Term, to access and use the Service and the Lessons available to the School, only inside the Service, through a supported web browser, and only for the School’s own non-commercial teaching and learning.

An Individual receives the same licence for their own personal, non-commercial learning, for as long as their account is open, instead of during a Subscription Term.

Showing a Lesson to students in your own class, including on a projector or shared screen, is permitted. The Service is licensed, not sold. We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you.

6. Ownership of the platform and lessons

Yukti Learn and its licensors own all rights, title and interest, including all intellectual property rights, in the Service, the Lesson Engine, the shared lesson library, our software, designs and documentation, and the “Yukti Learn” name and logo.

Lessons belong to Yukti Learn. As between you and us, we own every Lesson created, edited or delivered through the Service, including Lessons created from your requests, to the extent any rights exist in them. If you acquire any right in a Lesson, you assign it to us, and you agree not to assert any moral rights in a Lesson against us or our licensees. A School’s right to use a Lesson is limited to the licence in section 5 and ends with its Subscription Term.

Third-party materials used in the Service (such as 3D models and images credited on our website) remain the property of their owners and are used under their licences.

7. Your content and the licence you give us

You keep any rights you have in your User Content. You grant Yukti Learn a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable licence, with the right to sublicense to our service providers and successors, to host, store, copy, process, adapt, translate, create derivative works from and otherwise use your User Content to provide, secure, maintain and improve the Service and the shared library. This includes creating Lessons from it that may be offered to other Schools, and storing request text as sample queries for library matching.

This licence does not override your rights over personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Personal data is handled under our Privacy Policy and erased as described there.

You confirm that you have every right needed to submit your User Content, and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights or break any law. Do not submit confidential information. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely without any obligation to you.

8. Prohibited conduct

You must not, and must not help or allow anyone else to:

  1. copy, download, save, print to file, scrape, extract, export or record the code, HTML, scripts, narration, audio or other content of any Lesson or any part of the Service, except as a feature of the Service expressly allows;
  2. decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer or decode the Service, the Lesson Engine or any Lesson, or try to discover their source code, instructions given to AI models, algorithms or matching methods, except to the extent the law permits this despite this restriction;
  3. use browser developer tools, “view source”, network inspection, proxies, extensions or any other means to capture, save or extract Lesson source code or data from the Service;
  4. embed, frame, mirror, host, publish or display any Lesson or any part of the Service outside the Service, including on another website, learning management system, app or device, or share direct links to Lesson files or audio with anyone who is not an Authorised User;
  5. use bots, spiders, scrapers, crawlers, scripts, AI agents or any other automated means to access or use the Service, unless we have agreed in writing;
  6. bypass, disable or interfere with credit limits, rate limits, access controls, sandboxing, authentication or any other security feature, or probe, scan or test the Service for vulnerabilities without our written permission (report security issues to support@yuktilearn.in);
  7. create more than one account for yourself, create accounts by automated means, share accounts or passwords, let anyone who is not an Authorised User use the Service, or impersonate any person;
  8. sell, resell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute or commercially exploit the Service, any Lesson, any account or any Credit, or use the Service to provide services to anyone other than your School;
  9. use the Service, any Lesson or any output to build, improve or benchmark a competing product, or to train, fine-tune or evaluate any AI or machine-learning model, or to build a dataset;
  10. attempt prompt injection or jailbreaking, or otherwise try to manipulate, mislead or override the AI systems, to reveal their instructions, to make them produce prohibited content, or to influence the library-matching system (for example, by submitting requests designed to change which Lessons other Schools receive);
  11. submit personal data of any other person (such as names, roll numbers, contact details, photographs or health information), or more of your own personal data than the Service needs;
  12. remove, hide or alter any notice of ownership, attribution or AI generation in the Service or in a Lesson;
  13. collect or harvest information about other users, or overload, disrupt or damage the Service or the systems and networks connected to it; or
  14. use the Service in breach of any law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.

9. Prohibited content

As required by Rule 3(1)(b) of the IT Rules, 2021, you must not host, display, upload, modify, publish, transmit, store, update or share any information that:

  1. belongs to another person and to which you do not have any right;
  2. is obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another’s privacy including bodily privacy, insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, racially or ethnically objectionable, relating to or encouraging money laundering or gambling, or promoting enmity between different groups on the grounds of religion or caste with the intent to incite violence;
  3. is harmful to children;
  4. infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary rights;
  5. deceives or misleads the recipient about the origin of the message, or knowingly and intentionally communicates any misinformation or information that is patently false, untrue or misleading;
  6. impersonates another person;
  7. threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign States, or public order, or causes incitement to the commission of any cognisable offence, or prevents the investigation of any offence, or is insulting to any other nation;
  8. contains a software virus or any other computer code, file or program designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer resource;
  9. is an online game that is not verified as a permissible online game, or is an advertisement, surrogate advertisement or promotion of such a game or of any online gaming intermediary offering it; or
  10. violates any law for the time being in force.

We may, without notice, refuse, remove or disable access to any content, and suspend or terminate any account, that we believe breaks these Terms. We remove or disable access to unlawful content within the time required by the IT Rules, 2021 after receiving a court order or a lawful notice from the appropriate government authority, and we may report unlawful activity to the authorities and preserve related information as the law requires. We will remind users of these rules at least once a year.

10. AI-generated content

  • Lessons and narration are generated automatically by artificial intelligence. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, simplified, biased or unsuitable for a particular class, and simulations are not to scale or exact.
  • Teachers must review every Lesson and answer before using it in class. The School is responsible for deciding whether content is accurate, suitable and aligned with its curriculum.
  • Content from the Service is for general education only. It is not medical, health, safety, legal, financial or other professional advice. Do not attempt a real experiment shown in a Lesson without qualified supervision and proper safety measures.
  • The Service may produce the same or similar content for other users. No Lesson is exclusive to you or your School.

11. Licence fees and credits

  • Schools pay the licence fees in their plan or written agreement. Fees are exclusive of GST and other taxes unless stated otherwise. We may suspend access while fees are overdue.
  • One Credit is used each time the Service creates a new Lesson. Adding a Lesson from the shared library that is not already in the School’s library may also use one Credit. Opening a Lesson already in the School’s library uses none. If a creation fails and no Lesson is delivered, the Credit is returned.
  • Credits have no cash or monetary value, are not a wallet or stored value, and cannot be sold, exchanged, refunded or transferred to another School or person. Within a School, only its principal or our platform administrator may allocate Credits to its users.
  • Credits are given as an allowance for each credit period in the School’s plan. Unused Credits expire at the end of each period and do not carry over, unless the plan says otherwise, and all Credits expire when the Subscription Term ends.
  • Fees and Credits are non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund or the School’s written agreement expressly provides one.
  • We may change fees, plans, credit allowances and the number of Credits an action uses. We will give Schools at least 30 days’ notice of a change to fees, and a fee change takes effect from the next renewal of a prepaid Subscription Term.
  • Each Individual account receives 2 free Credits for the life of the account. They are not renewed, and they are used and returned in the same way as a School’s Credits. Individuals cannot use a School’s Credits. We may change the number of free Credits for accounts opened after the change, and may offer further Credits for purchase.
  • Credits obtained through a mistake, a bug, fraud or a breach of these Terms (including by opening more than one account) are void, and we may correct any balance.

12. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including AI model providers, hosting, database and text-to-speech services (listed in our Privacy Policy). Their availability and performance are outside our control, and we may change providers at any time. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services that the Service links to.

13. Changes to the Service

We may add, change, suspend or remove any feature, AI model, provider or Lesson at any time, and may carry out maintenance that makes the Service temporarily unavailable. We do not promise that the Service or any Lesson will be available at any particular time or for any particular period. Features marked as beta or preview are provided as they are, and may change or be withdrawn without notice.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access, any account or a whole School’s access, immediately and without prior notice, if we reasonably believe that you or the School have breached these Terms, if fees are overdue, if your use creates a security, legal or reputational risk for us or others, or if a law, court or government authority requires it. We may terminate a School’s access if its Authorised Users repeatedly breach these Terms.

You may stop using the Service at any time. To close an account, ask your School or write to support@yuktilearn.in.

What happens when access ends

  • All licences under these Terms end at once. You must stop using the Service and the Lessons, and delete any material from the Service you hold, including anything copied in breach of these Terms.
  • Unused Credits are forfeited without refund.
  • When a School’s licence ends, it may ask within 30 days for a copy of its user and class list. We erase the School’s personal data within 90 days after its licence ends, except data we must keep by law (such as registration information kept for 180 days under the IT Rules, 2021, logs we must keep under the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, and billing records) or need to establish or defend legal claims.
  • If access ends because of a breach, we may keep the relevant data for as long as needed to investigate, enforce these Terms or comply with law, and may share it with the authorities.
  • Lessons remain the property of Yukti Learn and may stay in the shared library.
  • Sections 6, 7, 8, 10, 15, 16, 17, 20 and 22, and any other terms that by their nature should continue, survive the end of your access.

15. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service, the Lessons and all other content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including any warranty of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free or free of harmful components. We do not guarantee any educational result.

16. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Yukti Learn, its directors, employees and suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or educational outcomes, however caused, even if advised of the possibility.
  • Our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the fees actually paid to us for the Service by you or, for an account created by a School, by your School, in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

17. Indemnity

You and, where you use the Service through a School, your School will indemnify, defend and hold harmless Yukti Learn, its directors, employees and suppliers from all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, penalties, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: your breach of these Terms; your User Content; your breach of any law or of anyone’s rights; any use of your account; and, for a School, its failure to obtain parental consent or to have a lawful basis for the personal data it provides, or its Authorised Users’ misuse of the Service.

18. Privacy and school responsibilities

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. For personal data a School provides, we process it on the School’s behalf and on its instructions. Each School must:

  • obtain verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian before creating an account for a student under 18, keep a record of it and show it to us on request;
  • tell its staff, students and parents how the Service uses personal data;
  • enter only the personal data the Service needs, and keep it accurate;
  • remove accounts of people who leave, and handle requests from its users and their parents; and
  • supervise students’ use of the Service and make sure they follow these Terms.

If you continue to use the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the changed Terms. If you do not accept them, you must stop using the Service.
